A: It is TOTALLY normal to feel nervous and intimidated! At Coming in Hot Studio, the heat is an essential part of our fitness classes, and while it may take some adjustment, don't worry—you'll be addicted in NO time! Here are some tips to help you prepare for your first session: 1. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water before, during, and after your workout. Proper hydration is key to handling the heat and performing at your best. 2. Go at Your Own Pace: Listen to your body and don't be afraid to take breaks when needed. It's important to acclimate to the heat gradually. 3. Wear Appropriate Clothing: Light, breathable, and moisture-wicking attire will help you stay comfortable throughout the class. 4. Communicate Special Considerations: If you have any concerns or special considerations, let us know beforehand. Our team is here to support you on your fitness journey. Remember, everyone is here to improve their fitness and well-being—there's no pressure to be perfect. Embrace the experience, and we're confident you'll find our classes empowering and transformative. Welcome to Coming in Hot Studio, where we empower your fitness journey, together!
A. Great question! A mat and a yoga towel - but don't worry, we have them available for rent if you don't have them - and water!! We will provide sweat towels and everything else you need! Please leave valuables at home or in your car!
A: We recommend wearing as little as you feel comfortable with since you will be sweating a lot! Lightweight, moisture-wicking athletic wear is ideal. We want to encourage our clients to celebrate their bodies and what they can do! Additionally, bring layers to wear before and after the class, as you may feel chilly once you leave the heated room. Keep in mind that no shoes are allowed inside the studio, so it’s best to wear slides or easy-to-remove footwear.

A: Unfortunately, we are a small fitness studio and currently do not have shower facilities available. However, we do provide sweat towels and wipes to help you freshen up after your workout. We want you to be able to push yourselves in each workout and give your body time to recover so you can! This is a very individual decision, so listen to your body and your needs. Depending on your fitness level, you may also need more or less time to recover. Whether you're a beginner who needs more rest days or an advanced athlete who feels great and wants to come every day, our studio is here to support your fitness journey. A: Yes, please! Though we do not recommend doing heated workouts during pregnancy, we definitely recommend the non-heated classes! Contrary to most patriarchal ideas, we are actually superhuman when we are pregnant! Movement and strength during pregnancy are vital and can be extremely beneficial in balancing the ways your body is changing and also supporting overall well-being. At Coming in Hot Studio, we believe in empowering your fitness journey at every stage of life, including pregnancy. Our non-heated classes are expertly designed to ensure safety and effectiveness, helping you stay active and strong. Always consult with your healthcare provider before starting any new exercise regimen during pregnancy.
A: When visiting Coming in Hot Studio in the vibrant Atwater Village, please note that the area is often bustling with activity. There is ample street parking available along Glendale Boulevard and the adjacent side streets. We highly recommend that you allow yourself some extra time to find parking, especially on Sundays. This is due to the popular Farmers' Market, which is an excellent spot to explore after your fitness class. So, plan ahead to secure your parking and enjoy the full experience that the area has to offer!
